The platform, in six parts
Travel Agent Companion is one system built for independent cruise agents and agencies of two to five, and it does six distinguishable jobs. Each page below goes into how one of them actually works — the fields, the workflow, and what a general-purpose CRM cannot represent.
These pages describe software that exists and is in active development. Screenshots are being taken; the illustrated slots on each page will be replaced with real captures rather than mockups.
Reservations & journeys
Cruise bookings stored as cruises — cabins, decks, ports, deadlines
Ship, sail date, stateroom, cabin number, deck and dining preference as real fields. Group cabin blocks with their own deadlines and per-traveller payments. Supplier confirmations parsed from email and approved by you before anything is written.
Sales workflow
Inquiry to deposit, in five phases
Leads, pipeline, proposal, booking, journey — the five steps the platform is built around. Configurable workflow phases, an immutable record of every phase change, and proposals a client approves without creating an account.
Commissions & reporting
What you're owed, what arrived, and what's late
Expected and received commission tracked separately on every reservation, with the supplier’s payment terms, the date it landed, deposit and final-payment dates, and planning fees kept apart from commission.
Website & SEO
Get found by people already searching for cruises
A branded site that ships with pages for cruise lines, ships, ports and destinations you can override rather than write from scratch — plus a journal, testimonials, reviews and analytics that show which page produced the enquiry.
Follow-up & repeat business
Turn one sailing into the next one
Email that lives on the client record, sequences that keep leads warm, and post-trip surveys that fire when a journey completes — with the resulting testimonial publishable to your own site.
Data ownership & migration
Your book of business stays yours
Every record scoped to your agency and isolated from every other, an audit trail of who saw and changed what, contact import that gets you in, and CSV export on the reports you run — so arriving and leaving are both supported.
Built for people who sell cruises for a living.
